Generally speaking, broker fees are setup on a sliding scale based on the deal amount– the higher price of the deal, the lower percentage a broker can get.
Here are some basic guidelines…
Average deals are going to range somewhere between 3% – 6%
If it’s an 8+ Figure deal, you are going to see numbers more like 0.5% – 2%
If the deal is in the 6 Figure range, numbers can range anywhere between 2% – 10%
So… “What percentage do I get?”
Well… it’s whatever you can negotiate, but hopefully this gives you something to aim for.
