Using LinkedIn Inside BankProspector
Use LinkedIn to penetrate institutions and to build your own network of bank contacts.
LinkedIn is the premier business to business social networking site on the web. If you do not currently have a LinkedIn account, you should. When you have a LinkedIn account and you are logged in all of your connections to the bank, no matter how tenuous, will be displayed. This is an excellent tool for penetrating financial institutions. I strongly recommend that you grow your LinkedIn network and use it to further your bank prospecting efforts.
Members may click on the number of connections at the top of the LinkedIn window, on any of the names showing, or on “See all xx connections >>”. Members are then brought to a new LinkedIn window where you can send a message directly to the contact, add the connection to your network, or perform a variety of other network or contact building actions.
