Where does the bank data come from?

We capture a live data update every hour from the FFIEC Central Data Repository.

How often is institutional data updated?

Hourly.

Does BankProspector have loan level data for individual loans, such as maturity date, loan amount, etc.?

BankProspector provides bank level data for whole loans, rather than individual loan level data. Members can search, sort, view, and track the late, nonaccrual, REO balances, net-charge offs, and other call data for residential, multifamily, construction, and commercial loan portfolios and then use our add-ons to find and directly connect with bank contacts and decision makers.

Does BankProspector break down types of loans (for example, CMBS vs. conventional, etc.)?

All loan balances in BankProspector are whole loans, securitized loans are not tracked.

How can you protect my credit card information?

We have gone to great lengths to put mechanisms in place so that you can transact with us confidently. All webpages where you enter your credit card information are protected by a security certificate provided by Comodo, an Internet security solutions and global trust provider – Comodo’s security seal is on the bottom right corner of all transaction webpages, and they do online vendor vetting so you don’t have to. Distressed Pro uses Authorize.net for credit card processing, the largest and most secure name in online credit card processing and a firm that requires numerous security checks in order to do use their service. Finally, after Authorize.net processes your credit card payment, Distressed Pro does not store your credit card information on our servers.

Why don’t I see any contacts in the LinkedIn panel?

There are potentially several reasons for this. 1) You may not be logged into LinkedIn or may not have a LinkedIn account. 2) The bank may not have any LinkedIn members. 3) You may not have any established connections within LinkedIn, and should consider expanding your network.

Can I buy individual notes or REOs, or REO Tapes?

That is between you and the contact that you make at the lender. The data that DistressedPro.com provides to you is not a listing of what is available for sale in terms of individual properties or notes. The research data provided will give you insight into the total amount of distressed debt and REO by asset type and by the stage of distress (ie., 30 day late, 90 day late, or non-accrual loans, and REO). It is up to you to use the system and tools BankProspector provides to find decision makers, make contact, and inquire as to what they have available.

Do I have to pay for the contacts from Jigsaw?

We connect your Jigsaw account to the app but we do not supply the contacts directly. Meaning that you will connect a Jigsaw account and whatever privileges or account credits you have with Jigsaw is reflected in our app and paired with our bank data. Jigsaw offers contacts either for a fee or for free. Jigsaw relies on crowd-sourcing for their contacts. When you contribute contact data you receive contact data back for free. In the demo account that I use for example all of the credits are free, I have paid for none.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the member panel. Click through the tabs and find the prominent ‘cancel’ link. You do not have to talk to anyone. Do not email a cancellation request.

Refunds are provided as per the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee policy. If you are not happy with your subscription simply cancel your membership from inside your member panel as noted above. Reply to the receipt email that you received when you subscribed and tell us that you’d like a refund and what went wrong. We’ll process your request within 1 business day.

If you cancel your subscription outside of the 30 days you will continue to enjoy access to BankProspector until the end of your subscription, you will never be re-billed.
