Where Are the New REO and Non-Performing Loan Reports?

I’ve been getting this question a lot since our last post about the REO and Non-Performing Loan Reports, so I thought I’d answer it here. While most all banks are required to submit their December 31st 2010 call reports by January 30th 2011 there are exceptions.

A bank that has more than one foreign office, other than a “shell” branch or an International Banking Facility, is permitted an additional five calendar days to submit its Call Report data. Such a bank must electronically transmit its data to the CDR no later than Friday, February 4, 2011.

Today we have 6,978 of a total expected 6,999 bank reports in the system. This would seem like enough to go ahead and offer the above-mentioned reports until you realize that JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America have yet to submit theirs. The fact is that US totals don’t mean much without these guys, so we’re going go ahead and wait for those reports to hit.

We are checking back daily and will release the reports as soon as possible.
