Q1 2011 Call Reports

BankProspector members will notice when they login today that the first quarter 2011 filings have begun. For all the new members who have joined since last quarter you may not be familiar with how the updating works. Lucky for you I have a post about it so you’ll know just what to do. The gist is this:

At the end of each quarter (12/31, 3/31, 6/30, 9/30) banks file their call reports. These reports are not due immediately, banks file them throughout the month and they have until January 30th April 30th. Between now and the end of the month all banks are required to submit their reports. If you log in today you’ll see that for the new period, Dec 2010 March 31, only 7 10 banks have reported

In the left sidebar members will see a drop-down menu with quarters in it. The display defaults to the most current quarter but if you’re looking for more data you can simply select a previous quarter and you’ll have a view of the historical data (up to 1 year past).
